We all know that China is one of the four ancient civilizations in human history, is a vast territory and abundant resources, a long history of a state of ceremonies. Five thousand years of development of the Chinese nation, inherited many traditions and virtues from generation to generation.
我们都知道，中国是人类历史上的四大文明古国之一，是一个幅员辽阔、资源丰富，历史悠久的礼仪之邦,五千年的发展，中华民族世代相传了许多传统和美德。
Good manners are so important in our society. Each of us was still babbling, Our parents education how we treat people politely, When we enter the school, the teacher teaches us how to speak civilized and moral, it can be said that each of us knows how to be a civilized person. However, I would like to ask you: as a student in the new century, how will you show our elegant demeanor? How to make our school image better? How to let the distant guests feel the new appearance of us ?

On September 12th, 20__, our school held a flag-raising ceremony on the playground with the theme “For your safety, for your life!”
Tang Shaofeng, on behalf of the students, made a speech. He said that safety concerns every one of us and hidden threat against safety was everywhere. We may easily get injured in sports or traffic accidents , or get sick from food poisoning. Therefore，we should pay more attention to safety and try to learn more about first aid. To sum up, we should take good care of ourselves for the sake of our family’s happiness.
Later, our headmaster gave us some specific requirements. He said both teachers and students should attach special importance to school safety. Firstly, riding bicycles on campus is strongly prohibited. No ball games are allowed in the academic areas. We should keep to the right when going upstairs or downstairs. Besides, the windows must be closed and the doors must be locked when the last one leaves the classroom. Finally, we should always obey the traffic rules on our way home or to school.

but luckly, the govenment of jiang xi province hosts an activity named "bid to host the national civilizd city".it can help to ehance our cultural quality as the same time the developing of sicence and technolog.
this activity let citizens know the ture meaning of civilizd ,let people know more about the basic knoeledge and , let us know hosting the national civilizd city is not a thing of a moment!so we must have perseverance to do what we can do and what we should do to help our city to be more civilizable.
for example, we can hold some good activities every can make some speeches to arouse the public’s aware.

We should also obey traffic rules. When the traffic lights are red, we should stop. And we'd better not talk or laugh loudly in public.
If everyone behaves well, our city will be more beautiful and more attractive.

为了建设文明城市，我们学生应该尽力在活动中表现良好。

folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.

Our vehicles include buses ,cars, planes and so on, it becames soeasy to reach the destination. So how did these happen? Those changes are allowing to the countless innovation. It makes our lives become more convenient,comfortable and colorful.
But in today’s modern life , don’t we need to innovate? No no, let’s have alook at the problems we are facing: air pollution, traffic jam, waste ofresources. Those are related to our survival. Maybe we can make a huge machineto filter the polluted , or invent a car which not only can drive along theroad, but also can fly in the sky; or one day we synthesis super energymaterials, we would never relay on traditional resources any more. Are thoseideas too exaggerated? Who knows? Just as hundreds years ago, nobody can imaginewe can fly by plane. Time will tell you the truth .As Edward, a famouspsychologists, said: Without innovation, there would be no progress, and wewould be forever repeating the same patterns.
