2. 举行高中英语新课程培训
为了促进高中英语课改在我市的顺利实施，去年暑假期间我们在郑州11中、12中、16中和外语学校对我市新高一、新高二的英语教师分别进行了新课程培训。
新高一教师的培训内容有：新课程通识、课程标准、人教版高中英语教材教师培训手册，以及必修模块1--5的编写说明、使用和教学策略等。新高二的跟进培训内容有：顺序选修课程的开设、任意选修课程的开设、人教版新课程教学资源等。集中学习之后，教师进行自主学习和复习，然后全市统一组织了新课程培训结业考试。除了九位教师因故未参加考试之外，本次参加培训的英语教师全部考试合格。
3.举办协作区主题教研活动
上学期的主题教研活动的特点是主题鲜明，初高中九个协作区全都围绕着课程标准解读工作开展。
为了确保协作区主题教研活动的质量，协作区负责人做了大量的前期准备工作。他们和各学校教研组长共同商量，采取不同的活动方式，如观摩研讨、经验介绍、分别汇报等形式进行。
由于准备得充分，协作区认真负责，相关学校大力支持，英语学科主题教研活动大部分协作区举行得都很成功，教师参加比较踊跃。但是也有个别协作区活动形式单一，事先通知不到位，参会教师不够多，效果不够理想。
4. 举行高考复习备考研讨会
上学期举行了两次高考复习备考研讨会。第一次是9月在郑州4中举行，对年高考英语试题进行了分析，对学生第二卷出现的错误进行了点评，新郑一中分校的常建锋老师就复习备考作了精彩的发言。
今年元月，郑州市组织了第一次高中毕业班质量预测。 集中改卷之后，在4中举行了第二次高考复习备考研讨会。会上，黄利军老师和实验中学的陈玲琴老师就第一次高中毕业班质量预测的命题思路、学生答题错误分析和复习备考建议做了发言。会议有助于毕业班教师感悟试题，并为下一步复习备考了思路。
5.举行中考复习备考研讨会
去年10月，我们在外国语中学举行了中考复习备考研讨会。在会议上，省实验中学的王千山和郑州中学的郭晓慧两位老师介绍了复习备考的做法和经验，陶继红老师分析了郑州市九年级二检英语试题，对学生答题错误进行了点评，并就复习备考提出了建议。
6.下校听课调研，开展课堂观察活动
为了了解学校课程标准解读的情况，深入开展校本教研，促进英语课堂教学改革，教研室坚持下校听课调研。上学期, 高中到了郑州5中、 9中、11中、12中、14中、19中、47中、回中、106、郑州中学等校；初中到了3中、52、62、63、73、76、79、102 等学校，另外，学科还到了26、42、103、农大附中等学校参加了教学研讨活动。
为了增强听课调研的科学性，提高听课指导的有效性，上学期教研室以学科为单位，开展了课堂观察活动。我们选择了郑州51中的王媛媛、郑州4中的白书锋两位教师作为观察对象，将观察维度定为教师课堂教学中的对话视角，并选择了提问方式、等待时间、学生回答方式和教师理答方式四个观察点进行观察，以增强课堂观察的可操作性和数据直观性。我们集体设计了英语课堂提问观察量表，对两位教师我门学科四位教研员集体听课观察各两次。通过这次活动我们体会到：
首先，从观察中我们感受到课堂观察对教师的引领作用。观察量表中观察点的设置其实就是提醒教师在教学中应该避免的问题和努力的方向，当教师看到这些量表时，她们会有意地去避免观察点中那些不当之处的发生。正如被观察者自己所说：从来没想过提问学生还有这么多的讲究，以后我们就知道课堂提问的方向和做法了。
其次，通过两次观察我们明显的感到课后交流对老师的促进作用。通过向被观察者展示观察数据，可以使他们更真实客观的自己的教学，发现课堂教学中在提问环节上存在的不足，以便在以后的教学中改进。
最后，课堂观察作为一种科学研究的方法，对我们的课堂教学研究了可观察、可记录、可解释的依据，有利于教师更好的反思教学和改进教学。被观察的老师和所在的学校都给与高度重视，积极参与，使得观察活动得以顺利进行。
作为教研室开展不久的一项活动，我们也感到一些不足之处，主要表现在：
第一. 在数据统计过程中，我们感到如何提高观察数据的效度和信度是关键。
第二. 课堂观察会使得观察者将注意力都放在观察点上，而没有精力顾及其他。我们四人分工合作，每人只观察和记录一个点就已经手忙脚乱，无暇顾及整个教学过程。课后交流也只能重点反馈观察点的问题，因此，对教师的教学目标、教学方法等方面则没有传统听评课的方式把握得透彻。
二.本期主要工作
1、全面推进细化解读课程标准工作
根据《郑州市教育局关于全面推进细化解读课程标准工作的指导意见》，为了进一步开展郑州市中学英语学科的细化解读课程标准工作，促进课程改革目标在中学英语课程实施中的落实，在前段研究工作经验的基础上，我们提出了“中学英语学科关于全面推进细化解续课程标准工作的指导意见”。
1）认真学习《英语课程标准》，明确英语新课程的性质、总体目标及基本理念，准确把握知识与能力，过程与方法、情感态度与价值观三维目标的内涵以及三者之间内在统一的关系，为开展细化解读课程标准工作打下良好的基础。
2）提高对开展细化解读课程标准工作必要性的认识，明确细化解读课程标准工作对于提高一线英语教师的课程实施水平的重要意义与作用。
当前新课程实施中出现的问题主要表现在一线教师只是较为被动地、机械地使用新课程，很少考虑革新课程或改进革新的效果，对课程标准的依赖性较强。因此，开展细化解读课程标准工作，为一线教师在新课程的实施过程中了、反思、提升的平台，有利于促进教师在课程实施过程中主动对现有课程进行调适、增删和完善，促使课程的理念方法与实际的教育环境相结合，从而保证课程实施的有效性。
同时，细化解读课程标准工作为建立和完善标本教研机制、为教师的同伴互助保障。细化解读课程标准工作为一线教师了解决课堂教学存在的问题，分享彼此的专业知识、经验，学习新的教学技能，提高教学表达技能的有效渠道，有助于满足教师的职业需求，促进教师的专业成长。
3)结合实际，制定开展细化解读课程标准工作的实施
(1)创建“自主探究—合作交流”的细化解读课程标准工作模式，确保此项工作有序有效开展。
教师个人研读课程标准，结合教学体会，自觉进行分解课标、重构学习目标的实践，不断反思，经验，牢固树立目标意识，以促进课堂教学效率的提高。
备课组组织教师定期集体研读课标，交流体会，形成共识。 学科组组织各备课组之间互相学习解读方法，取长补短，研讨细
化解读课程标准的深度与广度，把握方向，保证细化解读课程标准的整体性。
各协作区组织各校英语科的研讨、观摩活动，做到专项研究与合作研究相结合，推广经验，开发多元化解读模式，促进中学英语学科细化解读课程标准工作整体水平的提高。
(2)遵循制定学习目标的原则，确保细化解读课程标准工作的科学性。
细化解读课程标准应遵循以下原则：
整体性原则，即模块或学段教学的整体性和学习过程设计的整体性。
教师应首先明确每学段、每一模块整体的教学意图，然后审视每一单元的课程内容，最后落实到课时目标的制定与实施。
在进行学习过程的设计时，教师要把初、高中三年学习的内容作为一个整体进行设计，使之在时序、内容、难易程度和内在逻辑上有一个总体的思路，课时目标与学段、单元目标一致，对全体学生的学习过程有一个完整的规划，确定所有学生在三年学习后应达到的平均水平，体现“面向全体学生”的教学理念。
主体性原则
